DEPARTMENT OF AUTO CONTROL

OBJECTIVES¡G
On the basis of electrical engineering and electronic engineering, the department has the goal to cultivate the professional technicians with mechatronics capability so as to achieve industrial automation as well as computer-based control technology.

FACILITIES & FEARURES¡G
In order for our students to gain hands-on experience in operating automatic machinery, practical training is conducted in 7 Labs., including Industrial Power Distribution Lab., Pneumatic and Hydraulic Lab., Electrical Machinery Lab., Micro-processor Lab., Graphics Monitoring Lab., Electronics Lab., and Automatic Control Lab.. In addition , to enhance the versatility of the department, classrooms are also installed with high-quality audio-video equipments.

FACULTY¡G
Currently, the department has 11 full-time teachers as its faculty members, among whom one is with the PH.D degree, three are with master degree, and seven are with Bachelor degree.

CONTENT OF CURRICULA¡G
Fundamental electrics, Interior distribution, Industrial Power Distribution Practice, Electronics, Electrical Machinery, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Practice, Electronic Circuits, Automatic Control, Electronic Circuits Practice, Graphics Monitoring Practice, Single-Chip practice, and Mechatronics Practice.

PROSPECTS & DEVELOPMENT¡G
(1) Education promotion:
   Graduates can attend four-year program in institutes of technology after passing the entrance exam.
(2) Employment:
   Graduates from this department can be employed in the areas of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, information engineering or other related industries.
